Rwanda is not just a destination; it is a living conservation classroom where storytelling, wildlife, and landscape converge. In November 2026, Primates Africa opens an exclusive opportunity to step into the heart of the Virunga ecosystem through a rare blend of wildlife cinematography training and gorilla trekking experience.

Led by award-winning wildlife cinematographer Vianet Djenguet, this masterclass is designed for creators who want to go beyond travel footage and learn how to craft powerful conservation stories that inspire global audiences.

Conservation Meets Cinematography in Volcanoes National Park

Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas of Rwanda, offers one of the most powerful conservation environments in Africa. Here, participants will not only experience gorilla trekking in Rwanda, but also learn how to document ethical wildlife behavior, natural light storytelling, and field production techniques in real-time.

Under the mentorship of Vianet Djenguet, participants gain insider techniques used in international wildlife productions, including BBC-style documentary approaches and field ethics in sensitive ecosystems.

Gorilla Trekking Safari + Conservation Awareness

This is not a standard safari. It is a conservation-driven gorilla trekking expedition where every step in the forest connects travelers to the urgent need for primate protection.
